ADHD Coaching for Midlife Women

Personalised ADHD coaching to help you understand yourself more deeply, find ways forward that work for you, and create meaningful change that lasts.

You may already understand quite a lot about ADHD.

Perhaps you've been diagnosed recently, known about your ADHD for years, are considering an assessment, or have simply begun recognising yourself and some of your lifelong patterns through an ADHD lens.

That understanding can bring enormous relief.

But it can also leave you with another question:

I understand myself differently now — but how do I actually make this work for me?

You may know what you want or need to change but struggle to translate that knowledge into everyday life. Or perhaps you've reached a point where you're no longer willing to expend quite so much energy keeping everything going.

You don't need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with me.

You probably don't need to try harder

Many women I work with have spent years doing exactly that.

You may have become very good at compensating — pushing yourself, relying on urgency and deadlines, over-preparing, working harder than other people realise, or finding ways to keep things going even when it takes a huge amount out of you.

You can be highly capable in some areas of your life and still find apparently simple things disproportionately difficult.

And when something doesn't happen, it can be very easy to assume you should simply be more disciplined, more organised or more consistent.

But knowing what you want or need to do and being able to make yourself do it are not always the same thing.

ADHD coaching starts from that understanding.

Instead of asking “Why can't I just do this?”, we become curious about different questions.

  • What makes this difficult?

  • What helps?

  • What gets in the way?

  • What happens when you're overwhelmed?

  • What are you already doing that works?

  • What might need to change around you rather than within you?

Sometimes that leads to practical approaches for planning, prioritising, making decisions, starting things or following through.

At other times, we may need to look underneath the problem — at stress, energy, emotions, expectations, boundaries, perfectionism, your environment or the patterns you've developed over many years of getting things done.

This isn't about fixing you, forcing productivity or turning you into a more efficient version of someone you're not.

It's about understanding yourself well enough to have more choice.

What could become possible?

The aim isn't simply to cope better - It's to have more choice in how you want to live.

Coaching gives you space to move beyond what's not working and consider what you would actually like to be different.

For you, that might mean:

  • Greater self-trust — becoming clearer about what you need, what matters to you and what feels right for you.

  • More space for what matters — whether that's relationships, creativity, meaningful work, rest, adventure, growing a business, changing direction or something you haven't made room for yet.

  • A different relationship with your energy — understanding your capacity and using it more intentionally, so that keeping life going doesn't continually come at your own expense.

‍ ‍

  • Less overwhelm and mental noise — recognising overload earlier and understanding what helps before everything becomes too much.

  • More confidence in your decisions — spending less time second-guessing yourself and more time trusting your own judgement.

  • Practical ways forward — finding approaches to planning, prioritising, boundaries, follow-through or everyday life that fit you, rather than another system you're supposed to follow.

What happens in coaching?

There isn't a predetermined path or rigid programme of topics.

Your coaching is shaped around you — what's happening in your life, what you want to change and what we're discovering together along the way.

Although the process isn’t linear, much of the work involves three things:

01 Explore

Understand what's really happening

We start with what matters to you now and look beneath the surface of what's happening — the patterns you're noticing, where you get stuck, what triggers overwhelm, what's already helping and what may be taking more from you than you realise.

We consider the whole picture: ADHD, but also your strengths, values, energy, emotions, environment, relationships and the life you're actually living.

02 Experiment

Turn understanding into change

Insight matters, but understanding something isn't always enough to change it.

So we use what we're learning to explore possibilities — perhaps a practical strategy, a change in your environment, a different boundary or conversation, another way into a task, or responding to overwhelm sooner.

You try things in real life and we learn from what happens.

Something not working isn't failure — it's useful information about what you might need instead.

Make change yours

Meaningful change rarely happens all at once. Something can make complete sense in a coaching conversation and still take time to live differently.

We notice what's becoming easier, what still needs attention and how an approach holds up when life gets busy, energy changes or circumstances shift.

We're not aiming for perfect consistency.

We're building approaches that are flexible enough for real life.

The aim is not for you to become dependent on coaching. It's for you to become increasingly confident in understanding what you need, supporting yourself and trusting your own judgement.

Our coaching sessions have given me the confidence, insight and tools to find the answers. Equipping me to understand and resolve issues that were holding me back for such a long time.

Why 12 sessions?

Some insights can happen very quickly.
Living them differently takes longer.

Changing the way you respond to overwhelm, make decisions, set boundaries, approach difficult tasks or use your energy means having opportunities to try things in everyday life.

It means noticing what happens, talking it through, making adjustments and gradually discovering what is genuinely sustainable for you.

That's why my main coaching offer is a 12-session personalised ADHD coaching programme, taking place over approximately 3–6 months.

It gives us enough time to go beyond insight and good intentions — to experiment, adapt and allow useful changes to become part of how you live.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change or what the answer is.

My role isn't to tell you how you should live your life. I'll bring ADHD knowledge, professional experience, practical ideas and a whole-person perspective — alongside warmth, curiosity, honesty, respectful challenge and gentle accountability when they're useful.

Sometimes we'll slow something down and look at it differently. Sometimes I'll notice a pattern or question an assumption. Sometimes we'll get very practical.

You are the expert on your own life.

My role is to help you understand yourself more clearly, explore possibilities and turn that understanding into changes that work in the life you're actually living.

And there's room for humour too. We can take what matters seriously without everything having to feel serious.
